About Galina Glory

Galina Glory is a Russian-born artist based in London, whose journey into the arts has been as diverse as it is inspiring. Born in Siberia, she studied Stage Directing at the Novosibirsk Institute of Culture and went on to work as an actress in the Children’s Theatre in Novokuznetsk. Her creative career then took her to the Black Sea city of Sochi, where she became a radio presenter and cultural program editor.

After moving to the UK in 1987, Galina continued her artistic pursuits, performing as an actress with BBC One and completing training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Alongside her performance career, she is also a published author in Russia, with works ranging from poetry and children’s literature to semi-autobiographical novels and fiction.

In 2002, Galina turned her focus to painting, studying privately with the renowned artist Israel Zohar, who encouraged her to pursue art professionally. Her expressive oil paintings have been featured in successful exhibitions in London and are now held in private collections worldwide, including in the UK, USA, France, Israel, and Russia. Galina is a member of the International Art Foundation and continues to create evocative works from her London studio, offering both original pieces and bespoke commissions.
